Admittedly this has much sentimental value for many of us that have been part of the site or list since the early days.... I'd like you to meet Elsbeth, who is four years old, as she sets about learning to make Temari. Elsbeth has watched her mum and grandmum make them and decided it was time that she learnt also. The photo of the white temari is Elsbeth's first project - the dark one is a temari now in my collection that I am immensely proud of since Elsbeth made it to send to me. To put the pieces all together, Elsbeth is the granddaughter of Sarah R, to whom TemariKai is dedicated in memory of.

        As of March 2003, I'm delighted to tell you that Elsbeth has continued her temari work and as her mum says, has made her first "proper" temari - which we proudly show off here.....
