Talk Temari is usually is an unmoderated email list. Messages posted to the list are receieved by the entire list membership; replies to a message post back to the list membership. For private communication with a list member, create your own new message to that person. Please remember that the list traffic is growing and that messages posted to the list should be of a nature that is of interest to everyone, or at least a majority of the group. If your note is more directed  to one specific person please reply privately to that person, off the list. Messages will be moderated only if these few rules are not respected. Should you do find the occasion to post an off-topic note, please indicate OT in the subject line.

        Please note - as of summer  2003 due to the list being infilatrated by porn spammers,  policy was set to automatically place new members on moderation until such time as you either introduce yourself to me via an email or post to the list with an appropriate message. Once you emerge as a valid person and member interested in temari then you will be taken off of moderation and your messages will post to the list immediately upon your sending them. By screening new subscriptions in this manner I can head off any unwanted obnoxious message content making it to the list (even though I still have to screen it out - ugh).

        Members on the list have options of how they would like to receive their messages from the group. Normally they will be delivered as they are sent. You may chose instead to receive only a daily summary, a daily digest, or no messages to your inbox at all and view the discussion on the Yahoo groups website.  You can control your message delivery through your account.       Messages are archived, and may be viewed on the Yahoo Groups web site. Please do not use the list to discuss other topics or to circulate images (due to the archive space they take up).  If you have an image or other files to share with the group, please use the Yahoo groups services that are available, or set up an online photo album with any of the online free services that are available.        TalkTemari members also are able to share files and photos with each other through the services provided through Yahoo Groups as well as participate in the online Swap and Sell Meet (database) to trade out temari supplies you no longer like or use with others. In addition, other great experiences like the Great International Temari Swap, as well as regional StitchIns happen through the TalkTemari list.
