Shortcut for Stitching a Swirl on Three Inch
Mari
For those of you that want to try the swirl element but
haven't quite made it on getting a C10 division going, you can thank Anne
W. of the Talk Temari group for this shortcut. If you prep a mari so that
the final diameter is three inches (this means when you are done wrapping
and ready to stitch - not what you start out with for the core) you can follow
her diagrams here to work a swirl. (If you are feeling ambitious you can also
work out her thinking into relational geometry to use on other sizes.).
