Wrapping - Royal Blue All Purpose Sewing Thread
Marking – Candlelight Metallic Red by YLI Corp.
Stitching –
    DMC #5 Pearl Cotton : #321 (Red),  #Blanc (White)
    YLI Candlelight Metallic Red, Metallic Rainbow



 
Prepare the mari and mark with Complex 10 (C-10) Division

Striped Interwoven Pentagons

Round 1 – Work one round using YLI Metallic Red.  Stitches are made at midpoints of pentagon angles .  The pentagons are joined with interlocking stitches (weaving over and under adjacent pentagons).  Hint:  Be consistent with your weaving.

Rounds 2, 3, 4 – With DMC Blanc (White), work next rounds, repeating pattern as in round 1 .  Don’t forget to weave over and under to interlock the pentagons being worked.

Round 5 – Continue pattern, using YLI Candlelight Metallic Red .

Rounds 6, 7, 8 – Continue pattern using DMC #321 Red .

Round 9 – Continue pattern, using YLI Candlelight Metallic Red.
