One of the helpful things available to Temari crafters in Japan are notebooks with basic Temari charts drawn on a page, along with space to add notes about working the design. They are of course part of the supply goodies that we here outside of Japan are unable to obtain. The pages below are a reasonable facsimile of these notebooks. There is one for each major pattern - double or complex eighths, pentagons or complex tenths, and a simple division up to sixteen. While they will not display nicely on your screen they are true to scale and size, designed to print on an eight and half by eleven sheet with a three quarter inch left margin that will allow for three ring punches so they may be placed in a binder. Once you download/print a master of each you may find it easier and better to have copies made at your local office supply store or copy center.
        You will need to set the line printing option in your browser to "Black (or Solid) lines" rather than beveled or 3D. For best results, set your browser print options to NOT include any header or footer information such as url, date, time, page numbering, etc. (the options should be able to be set by the "Page setup" option or similar in the File Menu on the menu bar of your browser). The pages are set to display in a new window to avoid the frames on the site.... when the page has loaded into your browser click the print button. When printing has begun, click the Back button to return to this page and the site.
