While I very much encourage you to join in the discussion group if you would like help in learning how to make Temari, I also know that some people for various reasons are hesitant to do so, and even if they were to join, are not comfortable asking what you think are "stupid" questions.... but, there are no stupid questions. In order to help folks along, some members of the discussion group have volunteered to work as one-on-one email mentors with you as you begin to learn how to make Temari. This offering is NOT meant to be a substitute for purchasing a book or two, securing proper supplies yourself, etc., but as an adjunct to help you along in those first few tries if you need it.

        Since this can only be offered on a limited basis, after you get going, you'll be on your own.... but until then, if you'd like a buddy, email the web master and we'll see if there isn't someone we can match you up with. Having a mentor does not mean that you cannot still join the group and still ask your questions, but it may help break the ice and get you going on a very beautful craft.
