        A while back I received a gits ball from Tanya, I don't think she is on the list now though. Anyway I asked Tanya how she did it.  And she said she just did what her sensi told her to do.  Well, she did elaborate.  She didn't say where the starting points were, but I think the inside stitch of the spindle was right at obi, and 1/4 of the distance around.  So the white first stitch touched the red first stitch, for a total of 4 stitches around the ball.  You have to do one or two maybe three rows of each color before you go to the next color.  Tanya's was one row of a color.  Then you do the next row, and yes you are trying to stitch in between the two sides of the first row of stitching, but I found that it didn't hurt if you stitched through what you already have stitched, except for the last couple of rows.  In the last couple of rows, you need to make sure that you are not making the threads part with your stitching.  If you try this you will see what I mean.

        When the spindle points met, she added a row of a thread that matched the base color threads.  This really made the design pop, and I think it is really
helped this ball.
