Displaying Temari

While you are limited only by your imagination on how to display a growing temari collection, we are frequently asked for ideas on the discussion list.  Keeping your temari together can be as simple as hauling them around in a big plastic bag (done by someone we most all know of - yes, Diana Vandervort) - or something a little more structured. Perhpas the most wonderful thing is that the most simple accessories can be used to enhance your temari display. Arrangements can be as "formal" as having display shelves and cabinets (which I only recently found myself with so I too am well grounded in the simple end) but as simple as things around the house - baskets, bowls, glassware, vases, candle holders....

Here however are some ideas to get you thinking and if you have a unique idea that you would like to share here just drop a line (and maybe a picture too).

Sue C sends this - it's a shelf for displaying plates about 2 inches wide with the lip groove that is handy to keep temari in place

From the craft store  a simple flower vase - with a big batch of Teenies in it

again the craft store  - this is a "Bubbel Bowl" - they range from ten to twenty dollars depending on size but these are three inch temari  - a large bubble bowl will make a superb display. Easy to rearrange too - just dump it out and toss them in again.
This is from Becky T - again easy glass containers to find and use
