Temari Album, Temari Eggs page1
Temari worked by Ginny
(Please note - these are graphics-heavy pages, and will
take a few moments to download)
While
perhaps
not the widest known use of the Temari technique, using it to make
decorative
collector's eggs is not unknown in Japan as evidenced by a few photos
in
Japanese books. Temari eggs are enjoying popularity with Western
authors
also - Vandervort and Diamond mention and cover them somewhat in their
works, and the current (No 25-2000) issue of Inspirations Magazine (for
needle work) has a beautiful how-to article by Janet Donnelly, from
Australia.
