While not a standard division, this modified marking shows up in several Japanese books enough to make a how-to available. This version comes from Debi A, using ISBN4-8377-0491-3,: Zoku Shiki no Temari Kagari / Temari for Four Seasons, Vol.2 book as a reference.

Here's what the 14 faces marking looks like. It starts with a Simple 4 division, adding an obi. Then, additional marking lines are added so that squares, hexagons and triangles are created in a symmetric fashion around the ball - but, since you are not creating more 4 point even centers in the process, this is not a division. It's a modified marking from a Simple 4 division.

1) Mark a C4 (simple 4 with obi, shown in white thread). Find the value of 2/7 the distance of pole to obi (see below for help to do this) - use the 2/7 distance to mark out from each pole and place marking lines to create a square around each pole (shown in light blue).  When these are complete, there will be hexagons formed in each quadrant as shown in light pink lines on the diagram.
2) Add marking lines that connect opposite corners of the hexagons (hexagon outline shown in pink on the diagram) - lines here are shown in light blue thread. Tack the centers where the marking lines cross in the center of the hexagons. Repeat around the ball.
